The new 2023 Chevy Equinox will feature the refreshed front- and rear-end styling, which is in keeping with the brand’s latest design language. Structurally, the model is unchanged. The front of the model has undergone some changes, including a new grille and redesigned headlights. The refreshed lower front fascia, new grille, and headlights are similar to the all-new Chevy Blazer. The new grille is more compact and elegant. New slimmer but still sharp-looking headlights are part of the refreshed front-end. This version also features a more aggressive front bumper.
While the profile of the model is unchanged, the rear receives refreshed taillights with new graphics and a reworked bumper.
Many new details have been added to the cabin of the updated 2023 Chevy Equinox. The new RS trim features black upholstery with red stitching and a unique shift knob. The Premier model, which is the most expensive version, adds gloss black inserts to the center console and French stitching.
The Equinox is characterized by a curvaceous silhouette and easy-to-use controls. The seats of the Equinox are comfortable and have a standard power-adjustable function. You can store up to 63.9 cubic yards of cargo, or 29.9 cubic feet if you have all the seats up.
The base model includes chrome trim elements, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, keyless ignition, SiriusXM satellite broadcast radio, and keyless entry. Base models also come with a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, 4G, LTE, and six speakers. Active safety systems are also standard, including pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, and automated emergency braking.
2023 Chevy Equinox Engine
The updated 2023 Chevy Equinox features the same 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This engine is available in a pair with a six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional and front-wheel drive is standard. The base turbo-4 engine produces 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque.
After a year of inactivity, Chevy will offer a 2.0-liter turbo-4 option for the 2023 model year. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine powers the Chevy Blazer as well as Cadillac XT4. The new engine produces 237 horsepower and 258 lb. ft of torque. The 2.0-liter turbo-4 unit produced 252 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The new turbo-4 engine is designed to be used in conjunction with the 9-speed manual transmission.

While the current version is priced at $23,800, the updated 2023 Chevy Equinox will be slightly more. The updated version will be available in the latter part of the year.
